The Fifth Biennial Artists' Materials Expo 2012: Creative Spirit is an assembly of artists' materials manufacturers, artists, art professionals, and the creative public. Artisan has sponsored and held these gatherings in Santa Fe since 2000. We've got 72 booths, 99 workshops, and ongoing Free Demos. All the Workshops & Instructors are on the site now, and open for registration. Schedules for Exhibitors, Free Demos and Book Signings - will be available on this site soon!
This year we are proud to announce that The Artist Magazine has joined us to co-sponsor the event. Expo will be held this year at Buffalo Thunder Resort, 10 minutes north of Santa Fe. Expo 2012 will be an even bigger event with great artists, a fabulous selection of world-class art materials at discount prices, as well as opportunities to take classes and explore new ways of thinking and working creatively.

Hours & Information
Admission to the Expo is FREE. The exhibit hall at the convention center will be open and free to the public with a quick sign-in for a badge. The exhibit hall will have 72 booths of manufacturers selling artist materials at fantastic prices! A shipping service will be on site to help you send your packages home.

Class InformationClasses begin Thursday, September 13th, and will run through Sunday, September 16th. For best selection, register early online, by phone, by fax, or mail. You may add classes on site, and classes that are still open will be listed at the registration desk. Cancellations must happen in writing before August 14th for a full refund, and before August 29th for a 50% refund. After August 29th, there are absolutely no refunds. There will be a $15 class switching fee per class.
Materials Lists are available online, under the Class Description. For most classes, materials are included. Make sure you check the class description for personal resources to bring. All-Day workshop participants are expected to show up ready to paint. If you will need materials, order early on Artisan's website.
When You ArriveIf you registered online, the only confirmation you will receive will be by email. If you donʼt use email you will still be in the system. If possible, print out the class confirmation email and bring it with you.
Please arrive at the registration desk prior to the start of your first class in order to check your room assignments. You will see the signs and be directed by staff members. The facility is easily accessible and in compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
